Destiny: Rise, since September 2025, the harvest has dropped by 97 per cent and downloads by 96.5 per cent.

According to Sensor Tower data, after peaking in September 2025, the collections and downloads of the web-based ejection game Destiny: Rise began to decline significantly, and Destiny as a whole, IP, with Bungie’s studio abandoning Destiny 2, is a cause for concern.

Destiny: Rise is a moving-end game from the Destiny series, which was created by Net Ei and Bungie in partnership. Over the past few months, the game has been continuously updated. The fourth season also brought about broader changes in role acquisition and reward systems. As can be seen, the game has not stopped, and Internet ease is still working to improve experience and keep active players. However, in terms of income and downloads, the picture is rather mixed.

GachaRevenue data show that Destiny: Rise received more than $11 million globally in September 2025, the best performance ever. Since then, income has fallen sharply.

The following global income data are reported (in United States dollars):

August 2025: 2.03 million
September 2025: 11.13 million
October 2025: 3.85 million
November 2025: 1,761,000
Dec. 2025: 1357,000
January 2026: 64.35 million
February 2026: 388.5 million
March 2026: 357,000
April 2026: 3295 million

Global revenue from Destiny: Rise fell from $11.1 million in September 2025 to $329.95 million in April 2026, a decrease of approximately 97 per cent. There is a similar trend in download data. The game peaked in its installation in September 2025, with a global download of 1,815,000, and continued to decline since then.

The following is the global download data:

August 2025: 732,000
September 2025: 1,815,000
October 2025: 702,000
November 2025: 312,000
Dec. 2025: 21 million
January 2026: 158,000
February 2026: 73,000
March 2026: 83,000
April 2026: 63,000

In seven months, global downloads fell sharply from 1.81 million to 63,000, a decrease of approximately 96.5 per cent. This suggests that Destiny: Rise, while achieving good results in the early stages of distribution, has not since been able to maintain heat, which may be related to the player ‘ s aesthetic fatigue with the Destiny series.

Earlier this year, it was easy for the Internet to announce that it had abandoned the card-drawing mechanism in the game and instead adopted a role-discretion system in which players could unlock specific players directly by collecting debris. Clearer access is provided to players, rather than relying entirely on luck.

Destiny: Rise is in the mud, and it certainly adds to the whole Destiny series. Last week, Bungie announced that Destiny 2 would issue its last real-time service update on 10 June 2026, that it would no longer support the game and that there was no plan to develop Destiny 3, which would make the future of IP more uncertain.
